I loved it. An instant favourite. Most likely to re-read. As close to perfect as you can get.
I heartily enjoyed it, with a few misgivings.
Average. Middle of the road. Questionable as to whether I’ll read more by this author.
Meh. I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t like it either. Interesting, at least in part.
Reserved for books I’m unable to finish, those I hate, and have few or no redeeming qualities. Love triangles, insta-love, unscientific science fiction, and too stupid to live characters are instant turn-offs.
*Half stars are occasionally given, though I try to avoid them whenever possible. But some slip between the cracks anyway.
